About Almerimar
Introduction
40km (25 miles) to the west of Almeria,
Almerimar is a beautiful resort built around the original
harbour and flanked on both sides by natural parks and
unspoilt beaches. The town is maintained to the highest of
standards, roads are lined with palm trees and flora.
The climate is subtropical, warm and
dry. This area boasts the lowest rainfall in Spain. The
snow-capped (7 months of the year) Sierra Navada provide a
backdrop and are only 90 minutes drive away for those
wishing to combine snow skiing with their time on the
beach.
Almerimar is bursting with local pride
and during the summer months the whole town indulge in
fairs and family entertainment such as, beach parties and
offer a warm welcome for all to join in.
The golf course is adjacent to the
marina which overlooks the original harbour where
traditional Spanish fishing boats work as they have done
for many years.
Almerimar has 13km of wide, sandy
beaches with bars, hotels, shopping arcades and
night-life.

only metres away from the marina and its 27 hole
championship golf course, Almerimar is a delightful resort
set amidst some of Spain's finest scenery highlighted by a
